I am looking for any information on Arps backhoes. I'm planning on buying a used 3 pt one for $3500. This I can afford, the backhoe looks good, has pump, 2 lever control, and is going on a Kubota L3450. I would be interested in hearing comments from any one who has had one.

I own a model 728 aarps backhoe (3ph) and up until today have been pleased with the performance. Very strong for a 3 point hitch mounted unit. I have had little success finding a dealer or anyone who could help me with parts etc... for the aarps units. Mine quit working today and I fear I will not be able to find or rebuild the hydraulic pump or controller on my unit. Yours sounds like a good price compared to a new bradco or kelley but you may want to check into parts availability... Good Luck ....

i just purchased an arps 70 backhoe that is in new condition and installed it on a kubota 2550 tractor.problem is that after being stored in a barn for 5 years the valve body leaks out the bottom.could it be to high pressure or just sitting to long.it seems to be the pressure relief valve.besides that the unit works like a dream any info would be appreciated.also any dealers in the northeast,mainly ,maine ....
